New Telehealth Service!
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, TIMC is now providing telehealth services to all patients.
From Thursday 1st October 2020 we are no longer bulk billing COVID-19 Telehealth services.
To enable us to provide the high level of continuation of care you have previously received, we will charge our usual fee for the consult and then you will be reimbursed by Medicare for the rebate.
If you are experiencing financial hardship, please discuss this with your doctor. Under the current Medicare guidelines, health care card holders, children under 16 years old, pensioners and patients at high risk of severe COVID-19 illness are eligible for bulk billed telehealth consultations.
For most consultations, telehealth will be by telephone and some doctors will be able to do video consultations.
We will still be offering face-to-face consultations in the clinic when needed.
